With the hope that you have had a safe, relaxing summer, I write to update you on Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÙÍø’s plans for the beginning of the 2021–22 academic year.

In light of the University’s review, please note the following changes to our campus COVID-19 prevention measures.

This week, for the first time, Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÙÍø will observe the annual holiday of Juneteenth; because the holiday falls on a Saturday this year, our observance will take place Friday, June 18.

Krista Ingram, Professor of Biology, will serve a three-year term as Associate Dean of the Faculty for Faculty Recruitment and Development.

I write today with updates on Commencement 2021, taking place this weekend, and a look ahead to the fall.

I join with the presidents of Hamilton College, Hobart and William Smith Colleges, St. Lawrence University, Skidmore College, and Union College in a statement regarding today’s verdict.

Today I am the person charged to speak to harms that can go unrecognized, to identify threats to the wellbeing of our community that require understanding and care.

The Task Force on Reopening Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÙÍø and the Health Analytics Team have recommended a return to modified Gate 1 restrictions. We will reevaluate our Gate status on Monday, April 19.
